Cement Masons at a Glance

Cement masons use concrete, brick, stone, marble, and other materials to create floors, sidewalks, roads, curbs, walls, and other durable structures. The work is done in both residential and commercial construction settings. Physical stamina and strength are needed because the work is fast-paced and cement masons typically kneel or bend for long periods at a time. Specialized training is required to become a cement mason.
