Minneapolis Electrical JATC: Electrician

The Union

Minneapolis Electrical JATC is a training center organized by both electrical contractors and the local International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). The training center provides a skilled, knowledgeable, and capable workforce for the unionized electrical industry within the central Minnesota area. The JATC operates a 40,000 square foot state-of-the-art training center in St. Michael, MN.

The Event

Students will learn what an electrical apprenticeship looks like, what apprentices do, and how to apply for the program. The event will include a tour of the training center, including all of the working labs. In addition, students will also meet someone currently in the apprenticeship program who will be able to answer questions and discuss their career path.

* Please note: A maximum of 20 students may attend this event. Students interested in attending should inform their Trades Ambassadors and/or their counselors. Parents are to complete the social media/photo release form.
