Palmer Bus Service began in St. Clair, MN in 1974, with 8 buses and a dream. It is a family owned and operated business that has grown over the years with the hard work and commitment of many individuals. We are committed to our Purpose and Core Values, which include:
Responsible for repairing all assigned vehicles. Damaged vehicles should be restored to pre-accident condition, following the written repair order.
Knowledge of manufacturers’ repair processes & adherence to our collision technical repair processes. Possession of, or the ability to obtain, a valid Minnesota Commercial Driver’s License with air brake endorsements. Must maintain once acquired: Knowledge of MNDOT inspection requirements. Able to use frame and measuring equipment per vendor procedures. Written and verbal communication skills, and customer service skills are essential. Welding experience preferred. Able to communicate effectively at all levels. Able to kneel, bend, squat and stoop for extended periods of time to complete or inspect repairs. Must have good manual dexterity and eye / hand coordination to operate equipment. Able to perform repetitive tasks involving hand and arm motion. Able to wear protective equipment, including respirator.
