Quality Manufacturing is one of the largest wholesale manufacturers of custom wholesale signs and sign faces in North America. As an entry level Channel Letter Fabricator, you will be exposed to a wide-variety of hands-on experience and knowledge of the organization and industry.
As a Channel Letter Fabricator, you will report to the Sheet Metal Supervisor and perform various duties, including conducting light metal finishing, keeping track of materials used on jobs by completing work order travelers, assisting with the training of other employees, and having a working knowledge of all areas of the department’s business that occurs on a daily basis.
Entry Level. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to apply basic math and geometry concepts to calculate figures such as length, height & width and area, ability to calculate proportions and percentages and the ability to convert units of measure such as feet to inches or fractions to their decimal equivalent.Ability to solve practical problems encountered in a custom manufacturing environment where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to run channel letter and routing software.
