Shifts: 1st shift Monday-Thursday 5am-3pm, 2nd shift Monday-Thursday 3pm-1pm, or Weekend shift Friday-Sunday 5ap-5pm
Primary responsibility is the nesting of torches and lasers. Secondary responsibilities include generating code to operate CNC machining equipment primarily in the manufacture of various products in accordance with specifications.
Preferred candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent and one to three years of on the job experience programming with MasterCAM, SolidWorks (or similar CAD), and SigmaNest (or similar nesting software). An A.S. degree with a concentration on Engineering Technology, Machine Trades or CNC Machine Programming is helpful. Other combinations of formal training and experience will be considered. Proficient knowledge in interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerances to .0005. Computer literate; particularly in word processing, spreadsheet, email, and shop floor control applications. Knowledgeable concerning mechanical principles, fabrication practices, properties of metals, and the application of mathematics and dimensions to tooling and the production of machined parts. Experience machining aluminum, stainless and carbon steels. Knowledge and experience in fixture design. Proficiency in converting SolidWorks into MasterCAM and SigmaNest.
