As a Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment and/or processes in the assigned area, while working in partnership with production team members and area engineers. Shift Technicians monitor tool performance, schedule, and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment issues. They are also required to assist with equipment installs; tests; create and modify equipment procedures; and increase tool uptime through systematic problem solving and troubleshooting, quality workmanship, thoroughly document all maintenance performed in established check sheets and tracking programs, and routine review of maintenance check sheets and procedures. You will monitor, analyze, and address SPC issues for area processes on a daily basis and respond to SPC out of control issues. You will be required to keep the Lead Tech and/or Area Engineer updated on tool and area issues. This position consists of 12 hour shifts – 3 or 4 day work weeks.
Associate's degree in electronics technology or other relevant curriculum, or a combination of education and substantial directly related experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment is required. 2 years of electrical maintenance experience preferred. 2 years of mechanical knowledge preferred. Knowledge of electronics and control systems, mechanics / robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics and vacuum systems, heat transfer, fluid mechanics. Skill in diagnosing equipment issues. Verbal and written communication skills. 5+ years’ maintenance experience on Semiconductor Tool sets, Knowledge of SPC. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. A successful candidate will possess: understanding of AC/DC circuits; understanding of pneumatic/hydraulic circuits; understanding of vacuum systems; knowledge of test and calibration equipment (i.e. O-scopes, DMMs); understanding of SPC principles; PC skills and familiarity with MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; demonstrated proficiency in trouble shooting electrical circuits and electronic components; ability to troubleshoot basic, intermediate, and advanced problems and address root causes; ability to properly use common hand tools; ability to properly use personal protective equipment; demonstrated time management and prioritization skills; ability in multi-tasking complex projects; ability to follow procedures and work with minimal supervision.
$25-45 per hour plus shift differential
