Job Description

As a car wash Field Service Technician for the vehicle wash division, you will troubleshoot, service and repair state-of-the-art car wash equipment and provide excellent customer service to build and maintain professional relationships with our valued customers.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical, Programmable Logic Controllers, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment to perform diagnostic analysis, periodic scheduled maintenance, and repairs on state-of-the art car wash equipment by following written and verbal directions.
• Safely and accurately use and maintain tools, test equipment, and materials.
• Travel to, and perform service on, customer sites throughout the Midwest (up to 15 weeks per year overnight travel possible).
• Prepare detailed service invoices for customers.
• Consult with customers on operation of equipment, participate in problem-solving and resolution of customer complaints, and positively interact with customers and teammates daily.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of parts on company-provided vehicle.

Minimum Years of Experience

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications): Ability to problem-solve independently and on a fast-paced, safety-oriented, and dynamic team. Ability to lift repetitively 50 lbs (occasionally lift up to 75 lbs independently). High School diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a quality driving record. Ability to work on-call shifts and perform weekend work on a rotational basis. Prior field service technician, repair technician, or car wash specialist experience. WHAT WILL SET YOU APART (Preferred Qualifications): Proven continuous improvement ability. 2-3 years of previous vehicle wash service experience (or equivalent). Experience with electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Ability to read schematic drawings.
