Job Description

As a Garage Door Installer, you will service commercial and residential garage doors and garage door operators, including communication with customers. This is a full-time, day shift position.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Service commercial and residential garage doors and garage door operators
• Frequently use tools to complete jobs and lift materials
• Communicate with customers regarding their garage door and/or garage door operator
• Work hours begin at 7 am and generally go to about 3 pm. Hours will vary on a day-to-day basis; flexibility in scheduling preferred
• Use smartphones and tablets for digital dispatching of work
• Learn about and safely use all types of hand tools, power tools, scissor lifts, forklifts, torches, and welders

Minimum Years of Experience

Entry level. Relatable construction experience preferred but NOT necessary, we will train the right candidates! Some mechanical knowledge and experience helpful. Ability to learn and safely use all types of hand tools, power tools, scissor lifts, and forklifts. Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds. Valid driver's license and a safe driving record a must. Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Salary or Hourly Rate

$20 per hour
