Responsible for the bending, cutting, fabricating, and folding of sheet metal to create components used to assemble the finished product. Each job must be run with safety, accuracy and timeliness in the production area.
High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Minimum 1-year experience operating laser, press brake/turret or other metal fabrication tools. Excellent knowledge of fabrication machinery, electrical equipment, and hand tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs. Outstanding attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Ability to use tape measures and other measuring tools. Read and understand work orders and job schedules. Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test. Must be able to effectively read, write and speak the English language. Ability to frequently bend, twist, grip, squat and lift. Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently, & lift 70 pounds occasionally.
$16.00-18.00 per hour starting
