As a Machinist, you will set up and operate conventional and computer numerical control (CNC) machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts.
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Possess knowledge of using CAD software to design and program Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to machine metallic and nonmetallic parts. Ability to effectively use measurement devices. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Demonstrate teamwork, attention to detail, problem solving, planning, and organization skills.
