Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will support DDL’s facilities by maintaining and repairing equipment and procuring supplies, parts, and services as necessary.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on test equipment
• Assist Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor with working with outside service providers and vendors
• Assist Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor with maintaining a reasonable inventory of parts and supplies
• Perform the installation and qualification of new or used equipment
• Be able to work overtime, after normal work hours or weekends, due to the unpredictability of mechanical systems
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Years of Experience

Two year technical degree in HVAC or similar. 3-5 years of HVAC experience. Possess an understanding of facilities and maintenance concepts, advanced environmental chamber functionality, blueprint reading, and Microsoft office. EPA certified to handle refrigerant. Additional important skills for this position include: creativity, detail-oriented, strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities, being self-motivated / self-directed, being a team player, having a mechanical aptitude, having strong problem-solving skills, and being customer service-oriented.
