As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical / electrical equipment such as motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, production machines, pumps, liquid fillers, packaging equipment, material handling equipment, bulk delivery equipment, and blending/mixing systems. This position will primarily focus on the utilities side of maintenance.
Second shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:30pm - 2:00am
Mid-Shift: Monday - Friday, flexible with shift time
Perform scheduled facility and equipment maintenance
Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical problems and make repairs through adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication
Responsible for facility and equipment safety along with ensuring a clean, organized and safe work environment
Responds to maintenance calls/requests in a timely manner with minimal supervision. Dismantles equipment/machines and makes proper repair. Verifies corrections before task or job is complete. Responds with personnel via two-way radio
Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
A two-year certificate from college or technical school; or 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance position. Preferred experience with PLC programming & troubleshooting in Allen Bradley PLC (SLC500, MicroLogix, CompactLogix and ControlLogix. Ability to stand, reach, climb ladders, and work at heights as needed. Must be able to read and follow blueprints, drawings and schematics. Demonstrated expertise in the CMMS environment. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Excellent troubleshooting experience including electrical, mechanical, pneumatics & PLC's. Good organizational, cross-functional and interpersonal skills. Good math and analytical skills. Must speak, read and write English. Computer skills including; MS Office, Outlook, etc. Must be willing to work overtime, off-shift, weekends, holidays if needed for business continuity. Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to hear, speak, and use hands for fine manipulation. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and/or color vision for inspection and/or assembly. Must be able to lift and/or manipulate 55 lbs. Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces. Willing and able to adhere to all safety standards and wear all necessary personal protective equipment. The employee must be able to work in a highly fragranced environment. This role operates in a manufacturing environment where the noise level is moderate to loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee may be subject to on-call duties.
$26 per hour hour + $1,000 signing bonus
