Masonry and Concrete Laborers are responsible for keeping Brick/Block Layers supplied with materials at all times. Laborers assist concrete crews by digging trenches, placing, spreading, and finishing concrete. It is essential to follow directions from the Foreman and complete all tasks in a safe and productive manner.
Provide assistance to Brick/Block Layers
Communicate with operators dropping and picking up loads via hand signals.
Provide assistance to Cement Masons
Prepare the job site
Comply with all KJC Safety Policies at all times
A valid driver’s license. Entry level. Ability to read a tape measure. Reports to work on time at the location specified by foreman. The ability to lift 75-100lbs. Ability to work at elevated heights, in small narrow areas, and confined spaces for long periods of time. Physical ability to stand and perform repetitive work that includes bending, pulling, pushing, lifting, twisting and squatting for 8 or more hours a day. Effective communication skills including; speaking, listening, and following oral & written instructions.
