Job Description

Primary responsibility will be to unload, receive, and put away material. Secondary responsibilities will be to load and build customer orders.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Ship, receive, store, or move materials within the warehouse, loading area or storage area. Must be physically capable of lifting up to a maximum of 60 pounds and capable of walking from various locations within the warehouse gathering tools, equipment and supplies.
• Perform physical tasks involving manually loading or unloading trucks, trailers, or other transportation devices; unpacking, shelving or packing items in proper storage locations; packing tools, equipment and supplies into shipping devices. Such tasks require the physical ability and strength to lift, reach, bend and/or flex as periodically required.
• Verify that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipping against documents; insure that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles; and prepare and keep records of goods shipped.
• Keep warehouse and outside grounds clean and orderly which includes sweeping, picking up garbage, and other related tasks.

Minimum Years of Experience

Sit down forklift experience a must (order picker is a plus). Detail oriented. Good math skills. Self-motivated, strong work ethic. Efficient and organized. Customer oriented/professional. Team, collaborative approach to work.

Salary or Hourly Rate

Competitive. $50,000 annual compensation potential.
