Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials in proper inventory locations. Locate and pull raw material for production. Remove finished product from machines and returns left over raw material to the designated inventory location. Perform periodic cycle counts on raw material inventory. Investigate inventory discrepancies to find root cause of disparity. Back-up for shipping & receiving. General housekeeping and organization of raw materials and plant supplies.
A high school diploma, two years of experience in inventory control, shipping and receiving, preferably within a manufacturing setting. A team player possessing good math, mechanical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Computer skills with preferred experience in shipping and receiving ERP modules. Must be proficient with the use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tapes measures with an attention to detail. Able to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment, work under pressure and time deadlines. A self-starter with an organized, results oriented approach. Previous experience in a related manufacturing environment is desirable.
