Job Description

Use a scanner and other equipment to pick parts and deliver to specific jobs.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Use hand RF scanner for order picking/kitting parts specific to jobs
• Use hand RF scanner for order picking/kitting steel or panel enclosures
• Minimal updating of the Inventory Control System and data entry
• Process warehouse parts into inventory with both consigned and non-consigned parts
• Perform cycle counts
• Deliver parts to production line as needed
• Maintain a safe, organized, clean and efficient work area
• Assist in 6S and Lean activities as required
• Identify and assist in process improvement measures
• Ensure the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization

Minimum Years of Experience

High school education or equivalent. Forklift driving experience preferred (internal certification provided). Prior RF Scanner experience preferred ERP experience preferred. High motivation level and ability to multi-task. Ability to work with independently. Ability to work well with others. Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills. Good math and communication skills. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English without the aid of an interpreter. Ability to work overtime depending on work load.
