Job Description

Under general supervision stacks parts, cleans machines, and performs other assigned duties.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Use Axapta software programs to enter time/payroll information, job information, etc.
• Use paging system properly.
• Stack parts, clean machines, and perform other duties as assigned in a safe and efficient manner.
• Display a good attitude towards work and fellow employees.
• Obey all safety rules and regulations.
• Arrive to work and back from break on time, ready to work and stays until end of shift.
• Pay close attention to surroundings, always being aware of forklifts.
• Demonstrate willingness to consistently help with clean-up.
• Use clean language while at work.
• Demonstrate proper lifting technique.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

• Safety is #1 at BTD: Our expectation is that every employee: 1) Strictly follows safety policies, rules and safe work methods. 2) Promptly corrects or reports safety hazards or unsafe conditions. Promptly reports injuries for prompt diagnosis and treatment. 3) Makes regular suggestions for safety process improvements to support continuous improvement in safety.
  

Minimum Years of Experience

Some knowledge of the equipment, materials, methods and practices used in the production process. Some knowledge of related safety requirements to include proper use of safety equipment and proper safety precautions. Ability to understand and follow routine oral and written instructions. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Salary or Hourly Rate

Competitive. 20% shift premium for 2nd shift. 30% premium for 3rd shift.
