As a Plant Operator, you will collaborate with team members in the recycling process to meet team goals and ensure everyone's safety. After initial training, new hires are scheduled for 4 days on, 4 days off 12-hour shifts (nigh shifts, approximately 6pm-6am).
High School Diploma or GED required. Passing of all pre-employment testing, which includes: Math & English reading proficiency exam, criminal background check, employment and academic verifications, and drug screen & physical. Previous work experience within a refinery or plant environment strongly preferred, but not required. Previous work experience in heavy industrial manufacturing environment strongly preferred, but not required. Previous experience operating mobile equipment (e.g. forklift) preferred, but not required. Previous work experience wearing a respirator preferred, but not required. Ability to wear respiratory protection up to 10 hours a day with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work in a hot production area wearing protective clothing for up to 10 hours a day with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to lift and/or carry up to 80 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
$30.52 per hour (additional increase after 18 months)
