We are looking for Production Operators on all shifts! $1.50 shift premium (for 2nd shift) and a $2.50 shift premium (for weekend shift) on top of your base wage!

Shifts: 1st shift Monday-Thursday 5am-3pm, 2nd shift Monday-Thursday 3pm-1pm, or Weekend shift Friday-Sunday 5ap-5pm

Job Description

Perform various entry level production tasks in the manufacture of various metal products in accordance with product specifications.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Ensure use of safe work procedures and wear all required PPE. Promptly report all injuries and unsafe conditions.
  • Regular and on-time attendance for full scheduled work shift schedule.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with coworkers to promote a cooperative working climate conducive to maximum productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate and support Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Maintain 5S guidelines
  • Communicate relevant information and concerns positively and effectively to others in timely manner
  • Perform work at the appropriate pace to maintain quality and productivity requirements
  • Monitor the production board and internal paperwork to perform tasks in the designated sequence
  • Use hoist or other material handling equipment to transport materials and product into and out of the work area as required
  • Perform clean-up, grinding, drilling, blasting, straightening, cutting, galvanizing process preparation and general production support tasks
  • Examine finished products for defects
  • Accurately label all parts for routing to next operation

Minimum Years of Experience

Entry level. Accurately use tape measure and precision measuring devices. Ability to perform basic shop math functions. Ability to read and understand required internal manufacturing paperwork. Ability to electronically record production information. Effective and appropriate oral and written communication skills, including legible handwriting in English. Work with others as part of a high performance team. Adapt to changing work priorities. Able to work under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or procedures. Follow standard MMC and customer specified procedures and practices. Accept and apply on the job training to advance your skill level. Remain positive in challenging work environments. Use of common metal grinding and steel fabrication tools. Basic knowledge in interpreting prints and drawings. Attention to detail.
