Job Description

As a Production Painter, you will paint assembly components required for Carlisle customer equipment orders.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces as required and apply coatings with brush or spray equipment to obtain high-grade industrial finishes
• Mix paint, lacquer, and enamel as required
• Order correct colors and quantities of both standard and special paints
• Maintain paint equipment, including guns, pressure pots, paint, and air lines
• Interface with engineers to obtain pertinent information concerning paint requirements for customer orders
• Operate forklift to move equipment and parts for paint
• Order, monitor, and remove hazardous materials including solvent and sludge
• Identify ways to improve paint procedure and materials selection to reduce cost
• Complete work in a safe, high quality, and timely manner
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Minimum Years of Experience

High School diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of production paint experience. Able to lift 75 pounds. Ability to work without supervision.
