Quality Auditors work full-time from Monday to Friday. A Quality Auditor works 2nd Shift with hours starting at 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm. Award Staffing’s Quality Auditor jobs are temp-to-hire. This position is accessible through personal transportation.

Job Description

Perform in-process inspection checks, research questionable defects, and identify/toggle/move nonconforming parts

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspection checks at start-up, shut-down and every 4 hours or as specified.
• Research questionable defects using last shot library, PIMM (Production Instruction Multi Media), MRBs, and RMA information.
• Identify/toggle/move nonconforming parts into NC going back to the start of the issue.
• Create MRBs for non-conformed parts that contains details on the issue.
• Follow up on quality issues and ensure issues have been resolved if parts continue to run.
• Enter rejects from Tally Sheet into production reporting in IQMS.
• Back-up for Finished Goods Auditor – visually inspect parts and packaging, scan box labels.

Minimum Years of Experience

Graduation from high school or equivalent. Stable work history. Good attention to detail. Prior use of hand held measuring tools such as: calipers, micrometers, go/no go gages and height and depth gages. Teamwork and communication with on and off shift auditors and supervisors. Ability to read and understand work instructions and do basic math. Basic keyboarding and computer skills. Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Salary or Hourly Rate

$14 - $17 per hour

  All Award associates are eligible to be paid for five national holidays upon completing 500 hours of work within one employment anniversary year while working an average of 35 hours per week between each holiday.
