As a Quality Inspector, you will ensure all parts manufactured, and purchased, by the company are in compliance with all dimensional, material, functional, and performance specifications as directed by the customer and/or internal policy. You will also assist in the administration and company-wide compliance with the company's Quality Management System (QMS). This position reports to the Quality Manager.
High school diploma with strong relevant work experience is required (working knowledge of hand-held measuring equipment and Optical comparators). Ability to perform inspections per control plans/inspection plans, validate and document results. Ability to operate precision measuring instruments in accordance with approved procedures. Ability to interpret visual and dimensional quality criteria to operators. Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings. Possess basic reading, writing, and math skills. Possess an understanding of basic statistical technique. Ability to operate inspection instruments. Basic computer literacy. Ability to read basic blueprints. Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO quality management systems. Demonstrate teamwork, attention to detail, problem solving, planning, and organization skills.
