With more than 100 employees and growing, KEB America provides top-tier service, repair, and field support for customers in the US, Canada, and Mexico.
The Service and Repair Intern is a part-time position and is responsible for inspection, troubleshooting, repair, testing, reporting and documenting frequency inverters, clutches, brakes, gear motors, and other electro-mechanical components, including AC Motor Controllers and Drives, Servo Systems, Asynchronous and Synchronous gear motors, electro-mechanical clutches and brakes and HMIs/PLCs. The Intern will also become familiar with ERP systems, such as SAP.
High school diploma or equivalent. Students studying areas in electronics, robotics or related areas of study in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program. Ability to work from blueprints, schematics and change notices. Ability to solder. Ability to do accurate work at a rapid pace. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (written and verbal). Ability to work well independently as well as with others. Ability to multi-task. Ability to proficiently read and write in English. Ability to follow all safety rules. Ability to see small parts with or without accommodation. Basic computer skills. Basic math skills (standard and metric). Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. Basic knowledge of test equipment. Basic knowledge of basic electronics and mechanics.
