Quality Manufacturing is one of the largest wholesale manufacturers of custom wholesale signs and sign faces in North America. As a Thermoforming Press Operator, you will be exposed to hands-on experience and knowledge of the organization and industry.
As a Thermoforming Press Operator, you will report to the Thermoforming Supervisor and perform various duties related to forming plastic products using thermoforming presses.
Up to one year related experience, education, and/or training. Strong knowledge of industry color code schemes and painting concepts. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to apply basic math and geometry concepts to calculate figures such as length, height & width and area, ability to calculate proportions and percentages and the ability to convert units of measure such as feet to inches or fractions to their decimal equivalent. Ability to solve complex practical problems encountered in a custom manufacturing environment where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Possess a basic understanding of how computers are used in a manufacturing environment.
