Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the execution of required shipping and receiving activities to meet customer requirements and internal measures.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Perform various warehouse duties including, but not limited to:
  • Pulling of product per customer requirements
  • Preparing pulled product for shipment to the customer
  • Processing inbound shipments for appropriate storage
  • Cycle counting and/or physical inventory
• Use various types of equipment in the performing of these tasks, including, but not limited to:
  • Various types of fork lifts, including those that go up to 50ft off the ground
  • Automated storage and retrieval systems
  • Automated warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Use various computer based programs (Bill of Ladings, small package manifest, PC type applications, mainframe type applications)
• Record necessary data on appropriate paperwork and/or in computer based program(s)
• Maintain all equipment according to facility maintenance procedures
• Perform all responsibilities in a safe manner observing all safety requirements
• Actively support the Corporate Win Strategy
• Perform other related responsibilities
• Frequently lift 20-50 lbs
• Operate at 50 ft in the air on different fork lifts

Minimum Years of Experience

Entry-level. High school graduate or equivalent. Ability to operate various types of assembly equipment, cutting equipment, and fork lifts. Ability to operate various types of fork lifts. Ability to use measuring devices; tape measurer, caliper. Perform basic math; convert a decimal to a fraction and plot on a measuring tape. Read and interpret written (English) instructions. Computer experience is a plus. Additional job requirements include standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and climbing stairs and/or ladders. Other important skills include: problem solving skills; ability to work well in teams; strong attention to detail; general safety skills; mathematical skills; good housekeeping skills. Salary or Hourly Rate

$19 per hour
