Job Description

As a Water Room Technician, you will be responsible for the operation of the Water Room while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Learn and apply the raw materials receiving SOPs
• Learn and apply the Water Room operations SOPs
• Coordinate the removal of waste material from the Plant
• Clean and maintain all equipment in the Water Room
• Clean and maintain water pumping equipment on the Polish Line
• Maintain daily documentation on fresh water, propane and water chemical usage
• Perform water quality tests
• Communicate job problems and concerns with peers and Water Room leadership
• Additional duties as assigned by management
• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly push/pull 100 lbs.
• Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent break
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria
• Participate in daily stretch and flex exercise
• Occasionally work in wet and/or humid conditions
• Work in a non-climate controlled environment
• Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift
• Bend over multiple times throughout shift

Minimum Years of Experience

Entry-Level. Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to become certified in aerial lift. Ability to become certified in Chemical Handling. Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation. Possess basic computer skills. Possess critical thinking and troubleshooting skills. Mechanically inclined. Possess industrial work experience. High attention to detail. Reliable and punctual. Direct communication. Sense of urgency in completing work. Capable of multitasking. Work well both independently and with a team. Self-motivated.
