This is a FULL TIME position, however, accommodations will be made for current students who are completing welding programs with some additional experiences.
Member of a dynamic team of solid professional welders working in production stations in support of the manufacture of CAT’s paving equipment product line from end to end.
This position requires the ability to complete and pass an American Weld Society (AWS) certification. Basic Qualifications Welding experience or in the process of completing /completed certified trade school/technical degree in welding Ability to read fabrication blueprints/engineering drawings. Ability to complete and pass American Weld Society (AWS) certification. Top Candidates Will Also Have: Heavy crane equipment experience. Experience with basic fabrication hand tools and equipment (i.e. grinder, chisel, tip cleaner). Experience with cutting torches and/or carbon arc (gouging). Understanding of geometric dimension and tolerances (GD&T). Ability to read standard work, prints, and write continuous improvement cards. Ability to utilize computers for production transactions. Understanding of the metric measurement systems.
Minimum starting wage $25HR + based on additional experiences
