Boerger, LLC, an international leader in Rotary Lobe Pumps and Macerating Equipment, has an immediate opening for an experienced welder within their growing manufacturing department.
As a Welder, you will interpret drawings and plans to understand project scope and specifications, utilize industry tools and equipment, weld parts in flat, vertical, and/or overhead positions, and conduct tests to check weld quality. Hours of operation are M-F 7am-3:30pm inside a climate-controlled shop. This position will report to the Production Supervisor.
High School Diploma or GED and equivalent experience, post-secondary education is a plus. 1+ years of professional welding experience preferred (Mig, Pulse, Short arc, Tig) using Mild Steel and Stainless Steel for structural components and pressure vessels. Material thicknesses of 14ga to ¾”. MIG Welder Certification through the American Welding Society a plus. Working knowledge of industry tools and equipment. Able to read blueprints. Proficient in basic math. Good mechanical aptitude. Plans, prioritizes, multi-tasks, and completes a variety of work assignments within deadlines. Forklift experience desired. Occasionally lift over 50lbs.
