The manufacturing field is changing as robots and automated systems are increasingly being used in many manufacturing processes. Mechatronics or electromechanical systems technicians who know how to harness their natural curiosity and problem-solving skills in an industrial setting, are highly sought after in this growing industry. If you're excited about using electrical, mechanical, and fluid power to automate a task, you should consider our Electromechanical Systems program.
The Electromechanical Systems Diploma program at Saint Paul College provides hands-on training and the theoretical skills you need to succeed in an industrial environment. Students learn to install, operate and troubleshoot motors, drives and industrial computers in a hands-on setting in our state-of-the-art lab. Through our hybrid courses we cover the theories behind electrical, mechanical, and fluid power so that they can be controlled effectively. Within two years (four semesters), you will be able to graduate and work as a technician within the fields of energy, food process, packaging, and manufacturing.
